Last Days in Oregon!

Just before I flew back to MD I got the crib bumper finished! At Christmas time I had made the cover for the bumper we bought for the nursery. It still didn't look right so I got some of the curtain fabric and put the strip going down the middle of the bumper and added cute ribbon ties. Ahhhhhhh.....much better! Now it looks all put together for sweet little Jace! It was so fun to be able to enjoy Jill enjoying the nursery with Jace! One of my favorite memories of Jill and Jace are when he nuzzles her neck when she holds him! So cute! Tim had said that Josiah's little head looked like a "scoop of ice cream" when he was a baby....now we have another little "scoop" with Jace! So sweet. Jill is a great mommy! She is so patient and peaceful with Jace. He knows who his mommy is! I love how our grandchildren are so blessed with great mommies! The time had come for me to go back home to Maryland after being in Oregon for three weeks! It was Jace's first Valentine's Day and his first time taking Grandma to the shuttle!
