Happy Birthday, Micah! He is three years old today! Here he is as a newborn, his first birthday and a year ago when he turned two. Micah, we love you!
When Tim's cover is on the bench, it means he's home. I love to see it!
While Tim was in Jacksonville he was a part of a group of four mids. Sergio, Nickie, and Laura with Tim. They had a great time together going to the beach, a weekend at Disney World and hanging out. Tim got to fly out to San Diego on a P-3 one weekend along with Nickie. It was a surprise bonus since Courtney lives in Long Beach and drove over to take in the zoo and a Padres game with them. The four landed back in Annapolis on Wednesday. Laura and Nickie spent the night here since they needed a place to crash. We LOVE having mids over! It was great to meet them and hear the girls talk about "stuff". Here's Nickie but I'm sorry to say I didn't get a picture of Laura!
Rene and Shelly came for dinner the Thursday night. We LOVE having people over! It was great for Tim and Rene to catch up plus we got to know Shelly better:)
Jeff and I are back to our old tricks...teaching 4's and 5's Sunday School! Since September I have been helping our children's pastor and his wife by preparing all the preschool Sunday School materials during the week. I've wanted to be free on the weekends to bring Tim to church with us. This summer I have jumped in with both feet by now writing and preparing the preschool curriculum....and...teaching! It's a great thing for me to do as I can use my gifts plus contribute!
While Tim was gone we built this rock retaining wall in the front. It is phase one of our landscaping project for the front. Because of the steep hill we must put stepping stones for the winter slippery months. That will be phase two! I must admit Jeff did the hard part with the digging and all but the two of us made a good team for putting it all together!
